GORHAM -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's soccer team slipped to 2-2 with a 2-0 non-conference loss at the University of Southern Maine today.

The Beavers are scheduled to visit Maine Maritime Academy for their North Atlantic Conference opener on Saturday. The Huskies (1-4) earned their first win on the season.

Heidi DeHaan scored off a Samantha Mathieu pass at 54:59 to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. A putback by Catherine Wise at 85:44 sealed the victory for USM.

McKell Barnes (Durham, ME) stopped a pair of shots in the loss. The Beavers held a 12-11 edge in shots.

Alison Bradley made three saves for the Huskies.
