Farmington opened quickly with a pair of scores in the opening nine minutes. Beth Charles (New Vineyard, ME) scored off a misplayed ball at 2:58 and Moulton knocked in a Leigh Ronald (Farmington, ME) free kick at 8:44 for the 2-0 advantage. Behind the likes of Melissa St. Amand (Windsor, ME), Laura St. John (Wayne, ME) and Logan Faulkingham (St. Louis, MO) in the Beaver backfield, Farmington held Green Mountain without a shot for the first 51:48. The Eagles were able to break through at 78:13 when Kimberly Blank (West Lebanon, NY) found a seam in the Beaver defense and hit the streaking Taylor Riso (Portland, OR) for a goal.

Moulton completed the hat trick with four seconds left as she booted in the rebound of an Alida Peake (Penobscot, ME) attempt for the 4-1 victory.

McKell Barnes (Durham, ME) stopped a pair of shots for Farmington, which outshot the Eagles 19-5. The Beavers fired off seven corner kicks to the visitors' one.

Karen Davidson (Seymour, CT) recorded eight saves for Green Mountain.
