Women's soccer shut out by Lesley

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Lesley University scored three times in the first 9:01 as the Lynx downed the University of Maine at Farmington 3-0 in non-conference women's soccer competition tonight.

The Beavers (2-5) are scheduled to visit Wheelock College on Saturday. Farmington has dropped five straight matches.

Jodi Fralick netted a pair of goals and Jenna Fralick added a goal and an assist for Lesley (5-2-1). Jodi Fralick gave the Lynx the lead 4:12 into the match and Jenna Fralick connected on a 20-yard boot at 7:17 for a 2-0 command. Jodi Fralick followed with a header at 9:01 for an insurance tally for Lesley.

McKell Barnes (Durham, ME) registered 12 saves for Farmington, which was outshot 22-8. The Lynx also held a 3-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Miranda Matson stopped four shots for Lesley.
