BANGOR – The University of Maine at Farmington women's soccer team closed its regular season with a 4-0 setback at Husson University this afternoon.
The Beavers (7-9-1, 3-3-1) await the NAC postseason seedings. The women's soccer quarterfinals are scheduled for Tuesday. The Eagles upped their record to 13-5 (6-1).
Alexandra Laniewski scored a pair of goals for Husson, while Shelby Bradford record a goal and an assist and Megan Clement also added a goal.
McKell Barnes (Durham, ME) stopped 12 shots for the Beavers, who were outshot 30-3. Jen Plourde made two saves for the Eagles.
