Murphy honored as NAC Player of the Week
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington junior forward Amber Murphy (Manchester, NH) was named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week as announced by the conference today.
Murphy led the Beavers to a 3-0 week, including an overtime game-winner in a 1-0 win over NAC foe Lyndon State and a goal and two assists in an 8-0 rout against NAC foe Johnson State. Murphy also collected a goal in the Beavers' 4-0 win over Becker.
This is the first time Murphy has been honored by the conference.
The Beavers (6-4 overall, 4-1 in the NAC) are scheduled to visit St. Joseph's College on Thursday.
