Women's cross country finishes 1st at St. Joseph's
STANDISH -- The University of Maine at Farmington finished two points ahead of St. Joseph's College to win the Running Monk Invitational today.
Melani St. Pierre (Charlestown, NH) led the way for the Beavers and posted a 20:33 to win the event. Farmington held first at 29 with the Monks right behind at 31. Lasell (76) and Rivier (114) also competed as teams.
Farmington's five scorers were in the top 10 with Emily Farley (Bernard, ME) at fourth in 21:48, Lyn Plog (Avon, ME) in seventh at 22:31, Emily Weston (Rumford, ME) in ninth at 22:58 and Becky Cunningham (Eliot, ME) in 10th at 23:08.
