St. Pierre receives NAC rookie award
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington freshman Melani St. Pierre (Charlestown, NH) was named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference today.
St. Pierre led the way for the Beavers at St. Joseph's College's Runnin' Monk Invitational. She posted a 20:33 to win the event.
This is the third time this season that St. Pierre has been recognized with the conference's weekly award.
The Beavers are scheduled to compete at the State of Maine Championships Saturday at Twin Brook Recreational Area in Cumberland.
