Women's cross country sweeps NAC weekly honors

FARMINGTON --  The University of Maine at Farmington women's cross country team swept the North Atlantic Conference weekly honors as announced Monday by the conference.

Emily Farley (Mount Desert Island, ME) was named the NAC Runner of the Week. Farley ran to a fourth-place finish at the UMF Invitational at Mt. Blue High School on Saturday. Farley toured the hilly trail in 21:15. It is the second time this season Farley earned NAC Runner of the Week status.

Amy Siebert (Waterville, ME) was selected as the NAC Rookie of the Week. Siebert came in 16th place at the UMF Invitational with a time of 23:04. Siebert got into the scoring and was the Beavers' fastest freshman

The Beavers are scheduled to visit St. Joseph's on Saturday.
