Farley earns NAC weekly honors
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington sophomore Emily Farley (Mount Desert Island, ME) was named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week today.
Farley recorded a fourth-place finish in the 110-runner field at the University of New England Invitational on Saturday. The reigning NAC Runner of the Year toured 5,000 meters in 21:28. The Beavers placed sixth in the 10-team event.
As a freshman, Farley was honored as the NAC Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week three times.
The Beavers are scheduled to compete at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth this coming Saturday.
