Laflin returns to NEWBA Honor Roll
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- University of Maine at Farmington junior forward Caitlyn Laflin (Farmingdale, ME) was announced today as a member of the New England Women's Basketball Association Honor Roll for her efforts last week.
Laflin recorded her 1,000th career point to highlight a 3-0 week for the Beavers. For the week, she averaged 19.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. The forward netted a game high 23 points in a win over Johnson State College. She also posted a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards to help the Beavers to a victory over Lyndon State College.
Laflin also scored 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds in a win at Husson University.
This is the second time Laflin has been named to the NEWBA Honor Roll this season
The Beavers (8-8 overall, 6-0 in the NAC) are scheduled to visit Green Mountain College Friday.
