
Ryan Wagner
Women's Cross Country Head Coach
Ryan Wagner is in his first season as the University
of Maine at Farmington head women's cross country coach.
Wagner, who also serves as Farmington's coordinator of
first year collegiate physical fitness programs, joins the Beavers from Marshfield (Mass.) High School where he has been a physical educator since 2002 and the head boys cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field coach since 2005. He also served as the head boys indoor track and field coach (2003-04) and head boys and girls indoor track and field coach (2004-05).
A USA Track & Field Level II Certified Coach for Endurance, Sprints/Hurdles/Relays, Jumps, Combined Events, and a Level I Instructor, Wagner served as a volunteer cross country and track and field coach at East Stroudsburg (Pa.) University from 2000-2002. During his time at East Stroudsburg, he earned a Master of Education degree in
health & physical education.
A former cross country and middle distance runner at Syracuse University, Wagner graduated in 2000 with a
bachelor of science in Health & Exercise Science with a minor in Physical Education.
Wagner resides in Farmington.
