
Robert Timmins
Head Coach (Men's and Women's Golf)
An educator for 30 years, Robert Timmins took over the reins of the University of Maine at Farmington golf program in 2003.
A two-time North Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year, Timmins has led the Beavers to top-three finishes in the NAC in five of the last six seasons. Farmington was the recipient of the Team Sportsmanship Award in 2007.
Timmins taught biology in middle and high school in School Administrative District 47 for 30 years before retiring in 2003. Following retirement, he worked for four years at Belgrade Lakes Golf Club.
A longtime member at Waterville Country Club, Timmins has served as president of the WCC and Maine State Golf Association and currently sits as the president of the board of directors for the Maine Golf Foundation. He continues to serve on the boards of directors for the WCC and MSGA and volunteers as a coach for his daughter's high school golf team.
