Dan Stefanilo

Assistant Coach (Baseball)

 


 

Dan Stefanilo became the assistant baseball coach at the University of Maine at Farmington in the fall of 2008.

Stefanilo was a four-year player for the Beavers, captaining the team in 2008 and receiving North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week honors once. He is majoring in community health (school health education concentration) and minoring in coaching and mathematics.

With plans to coach for the rest of his life, Stefanilo has assisted varsity basketball at Jay High School and worked at baseball and basketball camps for many summers, including Edwin Thompson's Summer Baseball and Basketball Camps. He also plans to take over his mom's season tickets for the Boston Red Sox.

A graduate of Sanford High School, Stefanilo graduated with honors in 2004 and was a two-year member of the National Honor Society. He was a three-sport athlete (football, hockey and baseball) and captained the baseball and hockey teams. He was the recipient of the Campbell Cup as the best student-athlete in his class.
