Men's soccer players earn NAC honors

FARMINGTON -- Four University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer players were honored by the North Atlantic Conference with all-conference selections today.
Sophomore back Sean Raph (Fairfield, ME) was honored on the All-NAC First Team, while senior back Ryan Beam (Portland, ME), junior midfielder Dillon Clark (Old Town, ME) and freshman forward Michael Kelly (Norton, MA) were recognized on the All-NAC Second Team.
NAC all-conference
Raph -- a NAC Honorable Mention honoree in 2008 -- scored a goal and collected a team-high five assists for the Beavers.
Beam headlined the Farmington defense, which allowed 1.66 goals per game. The senior started all 17 games.

Clark led the team with 14 points (five goals, four assists), while starting 15 matches.
Kelly scored five goals and assisted on another in 17 games started. The freshman was once honored as the NAC Rookie of the Week.
Thomas College's Tim Costa was honored as the NAC Player of the Year, while Johnson State's Noor Bulle was named the NAC Rookie of the Year.
Maine Maritime's Travers Evans received the NAC Coach of the Year.
NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of conference coaches.
The Beavers ended their season at 8-6-3.
