Men's cross country teams at UMass-Dartmouth

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's cross country team competed at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth Shriners Invitational.

The Beavers finished 29th out of 38 teams with 864 points. Keene State won the event with a total of 85.

Cam Betts (Gray, ME) led the Beavers with a 117th-place finish at 27:32 on five-mile course. Betts was followed by Ty Thurlow (Lee, ME) in 162nd at 28:27, Kel Cenga (Brewster, MA) at 183rd at 29:14, Cam Fecteau (Gorham, ME) at 208th at 30:02 and Pat Pozzetti (Portland, CT) at 239th in 31:29.

There were 278 runners at the event. Northeastern's Teddy Vrountas was the top finisher in 25:04.

Farmington is scheduled to return to action on Oct. 4 when the Beavers are scheduled to host the UMF Invitational at Mt. Blue High School.
