Men's cross country finishes 2nd at St. Joseph's

STANDISH -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's cross country team finished in second place behind St. Joseph's College at the Running Monks Invitational today.

The Monks finished first with 43 points, while the Beavers totaled 47 points. Maine Maritime Academy (52), Lasell University (93) and University of Maine at Presque Isle (109) also competed

St. Joseph's Ryan Prescott paced the field at 27:41, but Farmington's Ty Thurlow (Lee, ME) and Cam Betts (Gray, ME) were 2-3 at 29:05 and 29:40, respectively. Kel Cenga (Brewster, MA) sat in ninth at 30:18 follwed by Cam Fecteau (Gorham, ME) at 13th in 30:43 and Pat Pozzetti (Portland, CT) at 20th in 32:29.
