Men's cross country 30th at New Englands

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's cross country team finished its season today with a 30th-place finish at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships today at Williams College.

The host Ephs ran away with the event with 36 points (the next closest team was Amherst at 122). Farmington accumulated 907 points.

Kel Cenga (Brewster, MA) was the Beavers' top finisher in 135th in 29:01.8 on the 8,000-meter course with teammates Ty Thurlow (Lee, ME) at 145th in 29:17.0 and Cam Betts (Gray, ME) at 157th at 29:29.8 right behind. Chris Durkin (Brunswick, ME) at 242nd in 31:43.0 and Cam Fecteau (Gorham, ME) at 244th at 31:55.3 completed Farmington's scoring, while Pat Pozzetti (Portland, CT) at 253rd in 32:18.5 and Matt Cornelius (Duxbury, MA) at 254th at 32:27.6 also competed.

Williams' Edgar Kosgey was the individual winner at 25:52.7
