Millett earns NAC rookie honors

FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington freshman Tim Millett (Gorham, ME) was named the North Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, the conference announced today.

Millett was UMF's top finisher at the UMass-Dartmouth Shriners' Invitational on Saturday. He placed 104th out of 225 runners at 28:09 in the five-mile race. The Beavers placed 23rd out of 31 teams and ahead of defending NAC champion Castleton.

UMF is scheduled to host its alumni race this coming Saturday.
