Millett, Cenga share NAC accolades
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington freshman duo Tim Millett (Gorham, ME) and Kel Cenga (Brewster, MA) shared the North Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Millett and Cenga led the Beavers to a fifth-place finish at the State of Maine Championships at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester on Saturday. Millett (27:59) placed 30th and Cenga (28:00) finished 31st.
Millett has been named the NAC Runner of the Week three times this season and Rookie of the Week once. This is Cenga's first NAC Runner of the Week honor.
The Beavers are scheduled to co-host and compete in the NAC Championships at Mt. Blue High School on Oct. 27.
