Men's cross country sweeps NAC weekly honors

FARMINGTON --  A freshman duo on the University of Maine at Farmington men's cross country team swept the North Atlantic Conference weekly honors as announced Monday by the conference.

Timothy Millett (Gorham, ME) was named the NAC Runner of the Week. Millett broke up a clean sweep by Bowdoin College at the UMF Invitational at Mt. Blue High School on Saturday with a third-place finish. Millett's time on the 8,000-meter course was 28:46.

Kel Cenga (Brewster, MA) was selected as the NAC Rookie of the Week. Cenga came in seventh place at the UMF Invitational. Cenga clocked a time of 29:04 and was UMF's second scorer.

Millett and Cenga helped the Beavers to a second-place finish behind Bowdoin.

The Beavers are scheduled to visit St. Joseph's on Saturday.
