Tyler honored as NAC Player of the Week
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington senior forward Andrea Tyler (Augusta, ME) was named the North Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week as announced by the conference today.
Tyler netted a pair of goals in the Beavers' 2-0 win over St. Joseph's in NAC action on Saturday. Tyler spearheaded an offense that outshot the Monks 21-12. She is the third straight Beaver to receive the award as sophomore midfielder Emma Deans (Gorham, ME) and senior netminder Kaeleigh Barker (Chichester, NH) were honored the past two weeks.
The Beavers (6-4) are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Brunswick to face defending NCAA Division III champ Bowdoin College
