Barker receives NAC recognition
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington senior goalkeeper Kaeleigh Barker (Chichester, NH) was named the North Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week as announced by the conference today.
Barker earned a pair of wins in the Beavers' 2-0 week. The senior netminder made seven saves in a 2-1 win over NAC foe Husson on Saturday and stopped eight shots in a 3-1 victory over in-state rival Southern Maine on Wednesday.
The Beavers (2-3) are scheduled to return Wednesday when they play host to Thomas College at 4 p.m.
