Barker honored by womensfieldhockey.com
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington senior netminder Kaeleigh Barker (Chichester, NH) was named to the womensfieldhockey.com Division III Honor Roll as announced today.
Each week during the season, the womensfieldhockey.com staff searches the game stories to come up with a Rookie of the Week, a Player of-the Week and members of the Honor Roll.
Barker helped the Beavers to a 3-0 week, including a pair of North Atlantic Conference wins. Barker did not allow a goal in victories over Thomas (8-0), Lasell (1-0) and Simmons (1-0).
The Beavers (5-3) are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Colby College. The game is tabbed for a 6 p.m. start.
