Baseball players take
part in Mary's Walk

Members of the University of Maine at Farmington baseball team are planning on participating in Mary's Walk, a 5K event to raise funds for Maine-based cancer research, on Sunday at noon at Thornton Academy in Saco.

The Mary's Walk and Kerrymen Pub Road Race is being held for the 10th year with all proceeds benefitting the Maine Cancer Foundation. According to the Mary's Walk web site, the event has raised $874,216 since its inception in 1999. For more information on the event, visit www.maryswalk.org.
